I'm already getting tired of the overuse and under achievement of so-called Green IT initiatives. It's really just good old fashioned cost saving - which does affect the bottom line, and therefore should be attractive to your CFO/shareholders anyway. We have been spoilt in terms of the amount and cost of resources at our disposal, and so we've become lazy and complacent, but upcoming legislation seems destined to make this a priority sooner rather than later. Leaving all that aside - isn't it also our moral duty to stop being so wasteful with resources that in the long term we are stealing from future generations? I couldnt agree more.
